Fires in Santa Rosa area

Postby Vanilla Orchid » Tue Sep 29, 2020 1:56 pm

As many of you know, there have been horrible fires in California. The McDougalls barely escaped with their lives about three years ago. Santa Rosa is again on fire, and I believe some of the family, friends and McDougall staff members are still in the area. Please, let us know if you are safe and what, if any help that you need.

Yesterday as soon as I heard about the latest fire(s) in Santa Rosa, I also right away thought about Dr. and Mary and how they no longer live there, but then any family and staff that still may. ???? :(

The sad news is that they had to evacuate.

We happen to be in the midst of a 12-Day program and the good news, is we are able to keep it going. If it was a residential program, it would have been a real challenge to deal with the evacuation. Since it is a virtual program, we did not miss a beat. Everyone who had to evacuate was able to log in and connect.

Thank you for the update, Jeff!! While it's not good that they had to evacuate and hopefully their residences will be unharmed, the main thing is that they are all accounted for...and able to connect for the online Program is an added bonus.
