Desayuno

El desayuno clásico de “La solución es el almidón” es la avena cocida con frutas frescas (o el Quacker como es conocido en muchos países; en Inglés se llama “oatmeal”). El mismo Dr. McDougall con su esposa Mary desayunan la avena cocida todos los días. Éste desayuno se ofrece diariamente durante el programa de 10 dias del Dr. McDougall en Santa Rosa, California.

La avena cocida contiene agua, fibra y una numerosa lista de nutrientes que lo mantendrán satisfecho y bien alimentado por varias horas. Asegúrese de comer una porción abundante hasta que usted se sienta completamente satisfecho. Recuerde que en el programa del Dr. McDougall no se mide ni se pesa lo que se come. Las personas comen la cantidad que desean tantas veces al día como desean, siempre y cuando se mantengan bajo los parametros del programa de nutrición especificado.
