Born into an overweight family, it was impossible for me to be slim and satiated at the same time. At the beginning of 2014, I discovered the plant-based diet. I was satiated overnight, lost my cravings, and yo-yo diets were a thing of the past.

The reason why most people cannot lose weight is not a lack of discipline, but rather because the food of the western diet is too rich. I was in this trap for 25 years of my life. As the caloric density decreases, so does the weight.
My mother once named me “health apostle” in my child hood. I know the power of healthy food, because I was confronted with illness and weight issues in my family early on.
