Current Research

Interested in the latest research findings correlating health and nutrition or a different view of traditional medical practices? I regularly review medical journals from around the world seeking the latest findings and thinking about treatments for medical conditions. It never ceases to amaze me that the scientific literature is filled with medical studies correlating nutrition to these conditions - yet how infrequently traditional medical practitioners relay this information to their patients. As well, there are numerous treatments regularly employed with dubious effectiveness, and I feel that patients have a right to know the pro's and con's of a treatment, before making a decision whether to proceed with it.

Patients - or those who want to avoid becoming patients - must take the initiative to stay informed, and cannot rely on doctors to provide this learning. To that end, I'll update this section of our web site regularly, so that you can remain informed on ways in which to improve and/or maintain your and your family's health.
