Well, LifeDancer ain't really sure, LOL. I've been trying to get an icon under my name but so far all I can get to work is the Avatars -- and geez, I know how to post web pages and all that stuff but I can't get it to upload an image from my own computer OR from a website.

However, the ticker is from tickercentral.com -- if you go there and sign up and make a ticker it gives you a bunch of different kinds of code to link to it. Copy the code that starts with phpbb and paste it into your signature area (which you get when you click on the Profile tab in the upper right corner).

Now if I could ever figure out why I can't get the icon image to change . . . . I judy did what Cavalier King says earlier in this thread and it worked! YAY!

I just found out that ImageShack will resize your picture to avatar size so you don't have to resize it before downloading to ImageShack.

I had to resize the image that is on my computer, and then put it in the image shack link that Patt (I think...and THank you, Patt, for linking!) linked...

To do this, I opened it with something (sorry...groundhubby was on the phone directing me...I'm dumb about this stuff) something like microsoft something or other...and then it had little windows that said 100%, which I down-arrowed to about 60% or so, and changed it so it measured it in pixels. I wish I could tell you exactly the steps I did...maybe someone else can????

After I got it resized...I sent it to image shack and followed Patt's directions from there...screwing up about 5 or 6 times!
