B - crockpot pumpkin pie oats

L - last of the veggie chili over brown rice

D - leftover stirfries over the last of the brown rice

I thought my pot of rice would last longer. Oh well, guess I will get the rice cooker out and try a RiceSelect brand of rice blend ( brown rice, red rice, pearled barley, and rye berries). Even though this company is located in Alvin, TX , I found it on Amazon, and cannot locate it locally. They have other blends (some with wheat berries).

Haven't posted to a what's cookin' thread in a long time but it seems like a good thing to do. I"ve been caught up in a 'no time to cook, let's eat out' cycle for too long so maybe if I get back to planning meals I'll stop that! :)

B: Oatmeal

L: McDougall soup cup, salad

D: "SCAMPI" sauce over brown rice, steamed green beans, & salad

Snacks: peach and/or apple

Thanks Doris! This looks good (and easy, yeah!) and I happen to have all the ingredients in my pantry. I love lentils and rice. so I'll look forward to trying this. I've saved it.

Thanks again :D

Doris, hope you don't mind, but I copied your Mujadarah recipe over into the recipe section of the board. It looks really good!

B - 2 slices whole grain toast, 1 Tablespoon peanut butter, 1 teaspoon habanero jelly

L - Amy's Breakfast Burrito, 1 mango

D - 1/2 cup quinoa in veg broth, 1 cup turnip greens, steamed, 1/2 c Punk Rock Chickpea Gravy

The gravy is from Vegan With a Vengance, made without fat. I still had peanut butter and that burrito which has 70 cal of 250 from fat. and the mango has about 1 gm of fat.
