
Ok, here goes. I'm starting this journal to try to keep myself more accountable and to report my progress. Anyone, feel free to jump in at any time.
I've been sticking to the Plan pretty well food wise. I'm still drinking some coffee in the mornings: I'm drinking half regular and half decaf and trying to get off the caffeine. I've switched to McD gradually, used up the rest of the butter; I've given the oil up too. I feel better but there's still one thing I need to get rid of and that's Friday night beer. I usually have 4 or 5. I know this is why my weight hasn't dropped much. I don't drink at home; it's usually in a social setting, and I'm stuggling with giving it up. Old habits die hard.

It's one way I use to relieve stress too. I'm unemployed right now; my company reorganized and I was let go.
So far today I've had two cups of coffee, a whole wheat tortilla filled with rice and beans w/taco sauce, a few bites of broccoli and potato.
