Dr. McDougall,
Is it possible that we can have a separate McDougalling-GARDENING Forum, so all the Gardening McDougallers (and potential gardeners) can come to one spot and find any and all of the gardening posts? There is so much helpful and interesting information offered, and sought, and discussed here on the board about growing our own fresh, whole food, but it gets scattered around on the board, and can be overlooked as a "gardening" post.

The current cost-of-living crunch has created new gardeners, also, who could benefit from clicking directly into a McDougalling Gardening forum.

Thank you for considering this new forum!

I second this idea! Gardening and healthy eating go hand-in-hand!

yep this economy has me a long ago gardener back in the saddle. I've been working on dusting off the cobwebs of the memory.

to see a "Victory Garden McDougallers" section. I will be happy to be a regular participant there, as I am passionate about food gardening and always like to encourage others to do it.

I have been tallying the participants so far who've contributed on the three or four gardening threads we've had just recently, and have counted 12 or 13 individuals from all different parts of the country. People have been pretty enthusiastic, so I would think that might be attractive to new readers or to non-gardening readers who might like to start growing food.

Count me in!

Also it is the best activity for getting me out in the sun to manufacture my own vitamin D!
