I was planning on beginning MWL last Saturday and then on Sunday I was feeling ill (for the first time in 6 years--what the heck!?). All week I had horrible stomach cramps, and back pains. The pains were on and off so I still was able to get some exercise in but it wasn't nearly as much as I had planned.

I went to the gym 4 of the 7 days but I only ran about a mile or a mile and a half each time and then did the elliptical for a little while. As far as eating, I really only ate bread and bananas--I know bread isn't MWL but it was the only thing that settled my stomach. Even though I wasn't really on program, I still tracked my meals on fitday and ended up eating around 500 to 800 calories a day. I lost 4 lbs this week, but I'm pretty sure that can be attributed to lack of calories, not the type of calories. Either way, I'm starting to feel better and I'm 4 lbs closer to my goal :)

Not a good start to a healthy eating program, but hey you have started. Good on you for going ahead against the tide, so to speak. I shall look forward to reading more about you through your journal.

Also, I checked my blood pressure yesterday. I didn't write it down last week but recall it being 118/76 and my resting pulse was 89.
Now it's 115/72 and my resting pulse is 86. :)
