This plateau has me bummed, so I'm going to ignore the scale for a while and focus on how I feel, which is GREAT! I'll do a weigh in at the end of the month. Great work, everyone!!

After being out of town a couple of weeks, moving, batteries on scale went dead, I am finally back and I've only gained 0.4 lb. I thought for sure it would have been worse. Changing kitchens sure played havoc on meals and routines.

Morning everyone. I'm up.4 . At first I couldn't figure out why and just rested my head on the towel rack as I stared at the number on the scale upset at first. I've been on plan all week. I have been exercising all week, although I significantly increased my resistance weights, I'm quite sore. I think that combined with ToM due in 2 days explains it. Not too worried and these aren't excuses. It just is what it is.

After getting up at 4 am all week, it was so nice to sleep in till 7!! Who would have thought 7 am was sleeping in ;-) .

Down to 144.8 this morning from 148 on Monday. I am loving my new diet, vegan isn't so hard if I remind myself that I want off of meds. and want to be a good example for my husband and 9yr old son.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend and keep up the great work! Our health is a precious thing so don't give up, every moment is a fresh choice and new start. :)

No change this week. I was down 2 pounds earlier in the week but two nights in a row eating out took care of that. I stayed McDougall but not MWL and the sodium was off the charts.

Congrats to all those who lost this week! Way to go. I'm betting on 2 pounds for me next week.

While I dont know exactly what youre eating, I doubt youre doing anything wrong. (unless youre eating off plan) That being said, generally in the first few days of eating this way, your body is adjusting. Youre muscles are retaining stored carbs (dont remeber the official term) and your intestines are filling with water full fiber, both really good things. Dont get discouraged. Just keep eating on plan foods. Potatoes, rice and other starches then add some veggies and fruits, all of course with no added fats/oils or animal products. You'll do fine.

lol i totally understand where you are coming from. i get up at 2.15am 5 days a week. i think its why i struggle with eating sometimes though cos my meals are so different

Im down 6 lbs, from 222 to 216 in one week. Great program. I eat until im full, i have tons more energy. Why isnt this diet more widely accepted? My family thinks im nuts because i have always eaten horrible food, fast food, fatty meats, but I havent felt better in years and its only been one week. I am so excited to see what the next few weeks bring. I have gotten a friend to try it with me and he loves it too.

Awesome!!! I know!!! It's crazy right! I've only been doing this a couple of days. I can't believe I'm eating rice and potatoes. I haven't eaten starches like this in - well - a long time. I have so much energy and could cry when I eat - it's so awesome to eat until I'm full. And this food is delicious!

Amazing isn't it! I feel so much better eating tons of carbs. I remember I tried South Beach (low carb) diet several years ago and I couldn't go more than a week..I got sooo grumpy and felt weak and sick. Now I just need the pounds to start melting off so I can be a shining example of health to my friends and family. I want to spread the word about the plant-based lifestyle, but it just doesn't seem right for a chubby girl to tell people how to be more healthy. haha!

I wonder if me not having a thyroid is an issue with me and this diet. I stick to it and gain. My friend is doing low carb and has lost 6 pounds.

Im getting frustrated.
