No. It wouldn't be the MWL plan anymore. It would be a hybrid plan of MWL/12 Day or MWL/Eat to Live. And that's OK. I've found that to be successful in the long term you need to adapt the information Drs. McDougall, Fuhrman, Barnard, Esselstyn, etc. give us to your own unique situation. Some people find this overwhelming and prefer to find one program and stick to it like glue - and that's OK, too. So long as you are eating mostly whole, unprocessed foods, are avoiding oil AND are happy with your weight-loss - continue on. If your weight-loss is slow or stalls, re-evaluate the breakfast smoothie. This WOE is for the rest of your life - a little experimentation can be fun. Kate
