McDougall cups are great! However, I think many of us McDougallers need more prepared McDougall foods than just them. I think we need McDougall Right Foods pasta sauces, salsas, and gravies (in cans or jars).

It is almost impossible to find ready-made pasta sauce, salsa, or gravy that is COMPLETELY McDougall-legal -- and if I should happen to find a fat-free one, it usually is not vegan -- and it is almost always loaded with sodium. Having McDougall versions of them would be a great help for those who do not have a lot of time to prepare meals and for whose talents are not in the cooking field.

By the way, my partially McDougalling husband recently received his first order of McDougall Big Cups. He thinks they are the greatest invention since sliced bread!!! He LOVES them not only because they taste great but because he can quickly "prepare" them "himself" -- WHENEVER he wants! (I always keep fresh fruit and raw veggie salad in the refrigerator that he can easily find and eat with the cups -- to complete his meal.)

I hope these cups will help change him from being a partial McDer into being an almost total McDer!!!!! :)

Thanks!

I think that the cups are great for me at work. He has posted many acceptable foods like sauces etc. in the "Quick and Easy Cookbook" and what brands are in different stores like Trader Joe's. I found many different meal bowls in the Whole Food store near here. They contain some fat ~10% but they have an oil packet that can be left out to make them fat free and still be tasty. I always tell myself that even if the sauce contains 20% fat that by the time I add the noodles and vegetables the fat content of the meal is still below 10%

it would be nice to have dressings, too.

We live in "the sticks" health-food wise. It is over 1 1/2 hours to the nearest Whole Foods Market (and with gas prices!) and the local stores really don't have much selection for health conscious people  I can order things through the local HFS (next town over) but they can't always get things either, because they are between territories for the wholesalers (who can't be bothered to come the extra 10-20 miles).

I'd love to be able to order all my "stuff" from one place :)
