Yum on that soup too!

W: 206.5

The weight has been a roller coaster this week and I refuse to analyse it. I have been on program, it just keeps bouncing up. So, so be it, I'll adjust. I got serious again on the water yesterday and went back to sweet potatoes most of the day. Today I will stick with them completely.

I was up as high as 208.5 this week which is 4 pounds up from last week. I am down again some but still 2 pounds over last week. I have been as low as 203.5, sadly just onces away from getting out of obese.

I am working at it hard, but I am also going to think back when that stubborn 218 (which always caused huge plateaus for me) was busted. I think it took a month or more, it was before I joined the weigh ins so I didn't track as well. Anyway, I just keep thinking --- this will be a weight that's in the rear view mirror too --- and at some point I'll be whinning about 152 or something

l
I've gave up trying to analyze the weight going up and down but I notice when it bounces up most the time I'm what i would call bloated doctors say I'm inflamed when it happens. This may seem strange but going out and putting my feet in grass for 30 minutes takes that away. When I first heard about that I thought it was nuts but it really does work for me.

Up 0.5 pounds.

What a roller coaster week: Tuesday I jumped up to 208.5 and have come down up to a 1.5 a day each morning. I did the loosing by switching back to sweet potatoes instead of rice - I am clueless why this works for me. I hope it keeps up though?

Rosey:

I love the putting your feet in the grass remedy! I have a brown bag lunch today: my friend and I will meet at the duck pond park not far from me. I will do this treatment there, I have no grass at my house at all sadly! I am sure it will work because it just sounds so relaxing and pleasant! Thanks for the hint :-D :-D :-D

Do you have dirt? or even concrete? not asphalt though or wood those don't connect you with the earth.

Though personally I love touching grass more then the others. laugh. Though I'm enjoying touching dirt right now doing my garden.

How are things going this week? I wanted to tell you - my physical therapy is really helping my hip - I am almost pain free. So if your insurance will pay, and your doctor will recommend it, you might give it a try. :)

Weight 202.5
Exercise;Everyday last week and swimming today :)

I haven't been on in quite a while. I really have been so exhausted :\ but that seems to be turning around and today I am up and not hating the alarm clock and running around the house geting ready for swimming later.

I think it's just the CPAP being re calibrated and updated, but it could also be the hour at the gym daily. whatever it is I now have to keep all the good habits because I don't know which one it is!

Carolyn I am so glad that the PT is helping your hip!!!! Mine is doing better with the exercise I am getting, but I am going to get into the giant binder from my "Pain Management" Calss and dig out the PT exercises I was given then. they didn't help too much then, but I think with the exercise and then stretching after I will get better results.

I seem to be in a downward trend with the weight loss too - I haven't bounced back up any and am staying out of the obese category - but the loss is really slow.

I am heading toward the big goal of getting out to 200's and Robin ( Quinoamania are both aiming to have those over and done with soon.

Robin and I had a good lunch at the hole in the wall sushi place. I had no idea that anyone would dare make sushi from ochra! We also had a good long chat and it is just so wonderful to have someone on program to talk with in RL as well as here!

Well off to the deep end of the pool and then maybe to the park for lunch --- so I can stick my feet in someone else's lush grass!

I have been super busy getting my house ready for the window washers. My house is floor to ceiling plate glass windows and I have to move a lot of stuff and clean like crazy for the window washers. I takes me days and I use it as my spring cleaning week.

I know spring is almost done so that seems late - but it rained really late through spring here so - well I am getting to it now.

I did focus on food and exercise and stayed pretty good on both. I kind of messed up mid week with dental work issues though.

I am getting a new crown and this is terrible for my fibro. Novocain doesn't really do me justice and I have residual pain that other folks wouldn't be bothered with. It just kind of adds to the overall pain issues. Plus I have been pushing with the house cleaning and gym stuff - so the pain is pretty high and it's messing with my sleep. this after just getting the CPAP thing straightened out!!!

I think this may be why the weight loss isn't what I expected for all the effort I put in this week - oh and like I said I messed up food and didn't eat well when the tooth issues were at their worst. When I was a kid my Mom used to call these Jello days, like when I was bothered from my braces being tightened - I just got jello, soup or ice cream. Depending on the meal course. Obviously these are not part of Mcdougall. I got McDougalll soups to fill in and thought it was good planning, but I gained mid week doing that - so who knows????

Still I lost some and I am happy to be out of the big bounces back and forth :-D :) :-D :) :-D :) :-D :)
