Hi Rosey,
Thanks for the photo which is so wonderful! You are making awesome progress :) and you look so happy.

I like all the bicycle discussion as I am currently trying to find a comfortable pair of padded bike shorts so I can start bicycling without so much discomfort. I have to walk/ride until I can manage to make it up the serious hills in our area (which may never happen - I may always have to walk some of it, but have decided I just have to accept that or not ride at all). Is your area hilly or more flat? How often do you get out on the bike?

Congratulations on passing the halfway mark of your weight loss goal!
Hugs!

You are making so much progress, Rosey! And new clothes are a wonderful reward. Almost looks like a Road ID on your ankle. Is it?

Yep it sure is. I love my Road ID. Has my name birth year. Has my Hubby's name and number my FIL's name and number and my mom's name and number. and below all that says Vegan for Life.

Thank you.

I tried the padded shorts and didn't care for them I ended up buying me a gel seat that is like really wide. Love it. I still walk up some of the hills in our area but I'm getting so I can get all the way up or most the way up them now. Unless it's one of the really steep ones. I try to get out 2 or 3 times a week but sometimes it ends up 1 time and then walking rest of week. We are actually going out for a ride as soon as hubby sells one of the bikes he fixed the other day. He likes to buy and sell bikes.

Thank you Everyone. I'm loving the new clothing but it's harder to decide what to wear when I have tons of clothing laugh. before I had 3 outfits and that was it. no decision making. laugh.

Went to a Vegan Convergence earlier today. bad thing about it was there was to many tempting things though I must say I did pretty dang good well I was there. I love potlucks.

Steal away, Rosey. I wanted to come up with some way to discretely let hospital staff know I was going to demand plant-based food if I ended up there. LOL

I can't remember for sure (and can't find it to check) but I think my hubby put a quote from the "Galaxy Quest" movie on his: Never give up. Never surrender.

Thanks Chile. That is a great way to do that part of why I put vegan for life too. Like his too.
