I weighed today at 151 lbs, my goal for this month is to read and understand the plan, Stick to the right foods and hopefully lose a pound or two, or at least not put any on. I had lost another 28 lbs, but have been steadily putting it back on since Christmas. I am still 31 lbs down from my heaviest weight a couple of years ago.

I'm embarrassed to admit I'm up 2 pounds from my last weigh-in. May be some water weight since the past 2 days have been heavier on the salt than typical.

So many people posting here are doing so well. You inspire me to get back on track and recommit to my goal. I've been way too content with where I am lately.

Mini - I know what you mean, I'm only 5'1" - 10 pounds is like 20 on a taller person. There's no hiding an extra 5 pounds, much less the 16 I need to shed. Let's get heading in the right direction!!

I'm just 5', and carry everything around the middle. I have been told that 20lbs on me is like 50lbs on a larger person because of my size and how I carry it. Prediabetic symptoms & varicose veins kick up quickly around the 25lb extra mark.

I am down 2.5lbs this week... not too bad. Time to get more specific about making sure I get a bit of exercise in at some point each day.

Whoever suggested the minipotatoes as a snack is going to cause me to go broke. I'm addicted to them. Cut them in quarters and eat ketchup, green pea guacamole on them... mmmm.

I did find myself comfortable yesterday when the temps hit 29C for the first time this year. Usually I'm a bit miserable when it first gets hot until my body adjusts. No problem on this WOE. Perhaps the lack of oil in the diet translates to thinner blood that does its cooling function better?

I am down 2.5 pounds! I'm happy and that makes 5 pounds in two weeks.

I was extra stressed yesterday and it is TOM so I am thrilled I stayed on track. :D

WOW! Everyone is doing GREAT!!! And it's so fun to see so many newbies here!!! You've come to the right place to find the motivation and support you need to succeed. Thanks again, Debbie, for keeping up this group! I love it!!

I stayed the same since Monday, but am offically down 2 pounds since last week's weigh in-so put me down for a 2 pound loss. I'm back to my 100 pound mark, so I'm happy!

I'm down 1.4 this week. I just barely squeaked past my goal for April, which was to get out of the 170s. 169.8, woohoo!

I am down only .5 pound this week but I officially only started today so I guess that is still good I'm going in the right direction.

I have eaten a plant based diet for 8 years, my problem is over eating and I LOVE dessert! So my biggest goals are to only eat until satisfied and lay off the sugar :D

Highest weight ever: 327 (fall of 2011)
Also aspartame free (except for an occasional piece of gum) since 3/14/12!

This past week had it's share of flaws, but I am still here plugging along and I managed to record a 2 pound loss. May brings with it a very special goal/milestone for me. I am hoping to reach ONEderland by the end. I am already at my lowest in 12 years and at the weight I was when I got married at the Grand Canyon. :-)

Absolutely no excuses: I joined a gym this week and did 5 hours there, I was completely MWL compliant, and YET I gain half a pound!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Sometimes I think I post here to prove how sssslllllooooowwww it can go! But I am loving it, none-the-less!!!!

Congrats to the losers and welcome all the new weigh in posters. Fantastic to have all these new folks. Just a ton of new people to offset my wee gain!

No weight goals for the month. Only goal is to stick to 100% plant-based food for this month. Each month will add new goals to build on the previous month's success.
