Hi there! I have been lurking for some time now...I have been a 100% healthy plant based eater for a long time but recently (3 months ago) cut out my last vice-nut butter. I'm a 5'5" 125 pound 30 year old female. My question is in regards to tabasco hot sauce. My favorite afternoon snack is several large carrots with hot sauce...and I mean a lot of hot sauce. It's the buffalo flavored tabasco sauce to be specific. It's 0 calories...but has a bit of sodium. I will often eat 1/2 bottle of the stuff. So...is this too much? Is tabasco allowed? Thank you from so much for any replies!!

What are the ingredients? Is there oil of any kind on the list? If so, not McDougall compliant.

Otherwise it's probably OK as long as you're not worried about sodium (or burning out your gut LOL). ;)

Thanks for the reply, ETeselle! Nope, no oil. Just cayenne peppers, vinegar, salt and garlic. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules. Thanks again for replying!!

I say spice it up! I can't see how the quantity you are consuming here is dangerous. I tend to do this when discovering a new spice or sauce. I tend to self regulate as my craving for it tends to subside with time.
