Hi, This is Nancy's Daughter I've been really busy with 2 little one's. I've been trying to find the time to join Dr. Mcdougall's site. I'm really wanting to look into a plant-base diet. So I am learning in process. I don't know how this forum works so if you know anyone that was friends with my mom please send them my way. I would apprieciate that. Thanks so much. Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Trying your best to adopt the principles here would be a great testament to your mom's faith in this lifestyle, and I know she would be thrilled to know you are doing what you can to live a longer and healthier life. It seems like she got a lot of satisfaction from eating this way.

And, again, my condolences to you.

Your Mom must be so happy. Amazing how the Spirit moves us. There is no greater Love then parent and child. We are all camping with your mother under One sky.

I still can't believe Nancy is gone. She was very cool and a great presence here on the boards. She will be missed for a long time.

I agree, Jim... she looked just fine when I saw her Sept. 2010. She will be dearly missed. I'm glad Jen has joined the forum.

I always enjoyed reading her journal, which helped me a lot in here. And I was especially impressed with the solar cooking she always did. It was great to meet her a couple of years ago. I am really glad I did. I miss her.

I am very sorry for your loss. Nancy was great. She was really important on the McDougall website. Nancy saved my "bacon" more than once when I overreacted to posts. I bet others would say the same thing. I always enjoyed Nancy's posts. Rooted for her all the way over many years. Nancy was common sense, kind and full of humor. Could be tough too. Everyone loved her. You have my condolences. Glad to see your posts.

I am shocked too. I'll miss seeing her face in her avatar. This is a GREAT loss. I'm praying for the family.
