10 days 7 lbs..puddle of fat need new shoes

Doing the Mary's Mini and weight loss has started up again...cannot believe all the layers of fat melting off of me...my shoulders are starting to get "bony"..my ankles are skinny...still waiting for my hips to catch up.....almost back in my Jeans from several years ago...I saved them for a reason...and yes I got a new pair of shoes!....love my potatoes...

I am down a lb this past week...will lose more this week as I am on a soup and soft food diet...treated myself to some granola the other night...found some oil and sugar free....second bite I split my back molar in half...had surgery yesterday...now it's healing....doc said I would have a hard time as it he had to take it out in pieces and the roots were growing sideways...today is my second day and I am doing GREAT!...must be all the good food I have been eating...healing is fast

Too bad about your tooth. Though I have to agree, healing is much faster on this program. Congratulations on your weight loss. You are doing awesome.

Saw my doctor yesterday for a follow up on my lab work. Hadn't seen her since starting this WOE. She was totally amazed by how I looked a few pounds lighter. And she was so totally supported. We talked and talked about this new adventure for me and it took up so much time of my visit that I had to remind her to " play doctor" for the last few minutes. She and I were so excited about my new health plan we just forgot about the whole doc patient thing. She is so supportive and was very interested . It was just so nice to get the feedback from her. She is a Vegetarian. Now rethinking her own diet. She supported me back a few years after having a near death drug reaction. She saw me through the worst and now the best. The RX was not from her. She's the best and I am so thrilled to have her as my physician.

Hi there - so glad to hear about your supportive doctor, I have one too pretty sure she is vegan - she sure knows all the best cookbooks

Thought of you and your group today - as we have a group potluck in the SF Bay Area that was wonderful. I wish we could meet regularly like you guys, but were to spread out to make it feasible and so far by smaller geo groups just too tiny to do more than lunch meets!

So happy though you have your group going and so proud of you that you had the initiative to do that!

Down another 2 lbs this week. Despite the meetup potluck. Salads and veggies with potatoes are working great for me. Now adding some fruit. Love mangos on my oatmeal.

So I changed my Ticker weight goal....I see that I will probably change it again...as I really think I am the thin person inside that I used to be...I ran across some Pics of my husband and I when we were first married in 1972...you have to understand we were divorced for 30 years between...got back together in 2003...we both look at them and think...why not?...we are both on track..I have loss 23 and he has loss 25..he looked a lot thinner than I but his cookie belly was obvious....this was before we started this....I am so committed to this...

YEA! this morning I was able to fit back into my jeans I had saved and hadn't worn in 7 years....glad I saved them...down 2 -3 sizes so far...depending on make and cut...now I'm getting closer to wearing my dress that I wore on my honeymoon in Carmel...by next year I bet it will fit....dress is from 1972...then it's back to Carmel for a second Honeymoon.....

Hey I love, love, love that dress! Now I know why your a Gin - ginger. I used to have the exact same natural red hair in 1972. Somehow I am now changed to a "platinum blonde" according to my best friend. Seems a bit more to t the white side to me.

Anyway, it's great to hear your moving down sizes so fast and also that you have plans for a 2nd honey moon in Carmel. My retirement party was there with my best buddies from HS days. Love that place, but it really is best for a honeymoon!!!!!

I have dress in my closet that I used to wear when I met my husband. Have not been close to wearing it since I had kids. I should get it out and stare at for inspiration as I battle the urge to SNACK this morning...

That's a great idea. I need to make a magnet for the fridge and a button I wear to remind me of my goals
