:D OK so after 2 weeks of not so perfectly staying on the MWL plan I got myself on the scale this morning and was down 3.8 lbs since the beginning of the month. I have been staying on the plan probably 80% of the time. When on plan I am eating huge quantities of food, mostly starches. I have been having a huge salad every day at lunch and I add a whole bag of frozen steam in the bag veggies to my dinners. Most of my downfall comes from Binge eating at night either watching TV or when having trouble sleeping. I have started to change my TV habits and keep myself busy so that I don't just veg out at night, I am also being more careful about what I watch on TV. I find that avoiding food porn has been a productive change.

Congrats to everyone else who is having a great No Excuses month. I love reading the updates!

Hello everybody :)
I'm joining in here. I missed the Saturday weigh-in but in the week up until Saturday the 14th (I only started last Wednesday), I lost 4.84 pounds. I'm not sure if that will get included next time but I thought I'd mention it anyway. My losses have slowed down so far this week but hopefully by Saturday I'll have a little more to report.

I'm down 3lbs this week. My goal last weekend was not to gain - busy, foody weekend. The major success was between my ears :) and I was able to easily meet that goal. I just made sure I was comfortably full of good food before I left home. With a full tummy, making good choices was easy.

I need to make sure I have good savory sauces and things to go with my starches so that I am craving them and not looking over the fence. My house is full of non plan (but whole) foods because I have 5 kids and a dear husband who is low normal bmi, and has always been. Never hungry and having good choices ready at hand seems to be the key that I have been missing over the past couple of years.

Hello all! I am wanting to join in, hope that is okay so late in the month. I have lost about 10 pounds since the first of the year but it has slowed and I need encouragement to be 100% compliant and move towards MWL.

I've really enjoyed reading through the pages of this thread and am so encouraged by the great success here! :D

I started increasing my exercise this past week with mixed results. I seriously overdid it and then had to miss some of my regular routine. Now I am feeling less sore and I am ready to ramp up my efforts again. I want to follow Veganjen's success and break that 200 pound barrier as well!

February 17th: 229

March 2: 222
March 9: 220
March 16: 217

March 30: 214 (out of town and not near a scale)
April 6: 212 (going out of town again)
April 13: 212
April 20: 210 Loss of 2 Pounds!

My family was up in the SF Bay area a couple of weeks ago and we were also lucky enough to meet up at Vanilla Orchid's home. I would have loved to meet everyone at the potluck last weekend, but it was just a fluke that we were there at all. Hopefully, next time there is a big gathering, I'll find another reason to get up that way. McDougall people are the best!

Congratulations to all of you!!! How wonderful...the stories of success, breakthroughs and determination! I love it!

I've had a hard time sticking with my plan since Easter...and this in the month of "No Excuses!" Well, the scale revealed my less than stellar eating this week. I'm UP 2 pounds :( I suppose, in a way, that's a good thing. It has given me a new resolve today to get back on track and not let this get away from me. So, next week, hopefully, I'll be able to report a loss again...NO EXCUSES!!

I lost 3 pounds this week...I am very consistent about losing none to very little for a few weeks, and then a big drop. It seems to average out to 1-2 pounds a week though in the end.

Congrats to all that have lost or maintained this week!
