I am just going to weigh in today. My weight is up. By only .6 but up is up.

I am starting a cleanse of sorts tomorrow. I cant escape the fact I have trouble with gluten. It started a couple of weeks ago when I ate some sourdough bread. In that time Ive gained almost 6lbs. None of my body measurements have increased at all, with the exception of my abdomen. By almost 6 inches :eek: :eek: Other areas have actually gotten a tad smaller, which leads me to believe Im actually losing but for this bloated, swollen painful belly.

I am not a fasting type of person. Ive been reading lots from people who have done them with good results. Im around food all day long. It would be torture to do that. Plus I wont be able to just "lounge around" and not do too much. We were blessed, sadly because of a death of someone famous, that my husband has work again working in the gallery! Im gonna be one busy momma for quite a while.

Ive got symptoms all over the board besides just the belly. My psoriasis is flaring, I have new hot spots on my thumb and index fingers along with shooting pains from both knuckles, several other joints around my body are stiff and hurt. But my belly hurts the most. Mainly I am going to do raw green smoothies, raw leafies and veggie soups. Right now, I get sick almost as soon as I eat something, literally one end or the other.

You can follow my progress in my journal if you wish. I feel like hell. Sadly, Ive "known" this for quite some time, Ive just never been this sick before now. :oops:

Up 7.0 pounds - it's just rain induced water retention, mostly. I am weird this way - but so is Rosie sometimes, so we're OK :cool:

Last week when it stopped raining I lost 4.5 pounds - so I expect that the dry days this weekend will see a big drop on the scale.

But, oh no, Sunday is the SF Bay Area McDougall Brunch, there may be some temping not MWL food there. Lord, help me be good :eek:

Post Script - Next day: baromeric pressure is up to 29.53 and the weight is already coming off. Lost 2 pounds last night so I am 208.5 and shrinking. We got to schedule these weighins on sunny days only :lol:

I actually gained a pound after my first time experimenting with a "feast day". I learned a lot. Still feeling positive!

So, up one pound to 292.2.

Highest weight ever: 327 (fall of 2011)
Also aspartame free (except for an occasional piece of gum) since 3/14/12!
5'9" tall, 44 years old.

I was gone last week enjoying my kids. This week I'm down 1.2 lbs!

I was going over my journal for the year and realized that this last month I was under 130 lbs more than I was over. This was very encouraging. I have also started walking more which I think is helping, as well as being more mindful of what I am eating. Knowing I will be posting here on Fridays has also help (which is why I joined the group). :-D

Same here no change this week. Just haven't got back into the losing groove but no gain. Still want to be under 120 by my may birthday so I'd better get moving . I'm back to my 20 min aerobics in the morning and walking miles. Dlee

Congrats on the weight loss topview! I hope you've found a good book to read about getting your child to sleep through the night. One of my own daughters was still waking up to nurse every 2 hours all night long way into her toddler years. I read a book called something like How to Get Your Child to Sleep Through the Night, which really explained how children sleep and helped me figure out how to get her to sleep through the night, so I didn't go totally crazy. Down .2 pound this week.

I'm going to try to do a Mary's mini this week. I'm kind of floundering with not great choices. I'm also not exercising nearly as much as I'd like.

I think as a result of inactivity and a particular stress from a family member, I have had a weird stiff left shoulder (I'm right-handed) that starts up in the afternoon and really isn't relieved with either ibuprofen or aspirin. Taking a hot bath before bed seems to take the edge off so I can sleep. I'm hoping this doesn't become something that I need to run to the dr for anytime soon.

I wish the best to all for the coming week!

Way to go everyone!!! A great week after Easter, and another week under our belts of "NO EXCUSES!"

Congrats on the 3 lbs, Rosey!! That's gotta feel good!:nod:

I'm up .4 lbs this week, putting me at 155.8. It's all good. My body is getting used to being smaller, and I have never, ever just kept going down, down, down without little blips up now and then. I'm happy, loving the new smaller me, and ready to get the last 20 or so pounds gone by this summer!

Hope everyone has a Happy McDougally Week!!! :-D
