Hmm, yeah. Rebranding does seem popular these days ala the Cuties phenomenon.

Lucky you. I'm waiting for the Kindle version. Hopefully it'll come out soon.

Purple, since you already have the book, can you please tell me, regarding the recipes, do a lot of them have nuts added?

I know nuts are rampant in plant based eating, the reasoning being that they aren't an extracted fat...BUT ...I have decided to follow a plan closer to the Mcdougall Maximum Weight Loss Plan...and I've decided to eliminate all nuts. I don't need them, they add to weight gain for me, and looking back over the years, I was actually a lot healthier when I NEVER ate nuts.

So can you please share a little about what type of recipes are in the book?

Thank you in advance for your answer!

A quick flip reveals just two recipes with nuts in the title (something with walnuts, and cashew milk) - I'm a bit busy right now to go through each one individually to explore further.

Thanks! I appreciate your answer.

I guess I was just hoping that Dr. Mcdougall wasn't jumping on the same bandwagon I see other plant based authors jumping on - mainly using nuts in many recipes with the reasoning that they are not an extracted fat so they're ok. That reasoning just doesn't cut it for me.

Dr. McDougall has long stressed that nuts were to be used very sparingly, if at all.

Thanks Tom. Not a big fan of what they do to my waistline! And I was far healthier when I avoided nuts totally and really kept my fats down in the mid 80's.

I saw on Amazon that it won't be released until May 8th - hopefully the kindle version will be released at the same time. It seems a loooonnggg time to wait...

I have my copy (one) and it succeeds my high expectations - you will not be disappointed.

Likely I will also have 1000 copies on my doorstep next week.

But the publisher says I cannot sell them until May 8. We do not want amazon, etc. to be unhappy with us.

However, if I see an early release then I will respond in kind.
Start checking with your bookstores next week and report any sales.

We are selling autographed copies (limited to first 500 orders).

I've pre-ordered both from Amazon and my local bookseller...I'm trying to keep him in business too. I can't wait!
