Did anyone see these recipes? They look delicious! The hash recipe is genius! I wouldn't have thought to make hash without meat. My Mom used to make it for my brother all the time. I could see lots of possibliities with this recipe. It would be a great clean out the fridge recipe. Can't wait to make this for dinner tonight.

Otherwise known as Sunday night dinner at our house!

I'm actually unfamiliar with the term hash as a recipe so I looked it up and got this http://hash.theshoppe.com/Hash.htm ...I'm assuming that's not it!

I'm thinking maybe a hash is something like a joe's scramble?

No, this is hash.

I used to live right down the road from The Wellness Center where Chef Del is the executive chef. Now we are about 20 miles away. I love his meals and his personality. I am anxiously awaiting the new Forks Over Knives cookbook coming out in June of which he is one of the main authors. Chef Del has lost well over 100 lbs. eating the McDougall way.

At my house growing up we called pretty much anything you cooked in a pan all sort of mashed together like that for breakfast a 'joe's scramble' or 'joe's special'.... seemed like the process for the hash was about the same, I know I've served things similar to the fok image and had people comment, 'looks like joe's special'. Thinking about serving hash makes me laugh, sorry... I realize now I have heard of 'corned beef hash'. Thanks for sharing the recipes and website!
