Gah!!! I almost forgot to start this months thread. Well I did forget, which is why Im doing it now! Sorry for dropping the ball.

March came in like a lion, a very angry lion. We got unexpected snow a few days ago. Yesterday we got snow again. We were forecasted to get between 12-18 inches of snow yesterday, but got it today instead. It was a super busy day as the school district called a snow day yesterday and not today! Ive never seen so many vehicles in ditches as I did today.

Hoping for a very sucessful month. Im on a roll. I think I figured it out. Got my meds for my thyroid correct, although my doctor thinks otherwise. Food is great and things are finally lining up. Heres to a great month of losses everyone!!

Hi everyone! I have been a McDougaller for almost three years, but started the MWL program three days ago, just in time to participate in the Weekly Weigh In!

Today I weighed 141.0.

My goal is 127.

So far, so good!

Hi everyone, happy March! We got some great rain the last couple of days, so everything around here will be beautiful and green for my birthday tomorrow, yay! :-D This is the end of week 3 for me, and I am really happy with my progress. Largely thanks to this board, I have already dealt successfully with my inlaws' joint birthday party, a friend's 50th birthday party, and a classmate bringing me cupcakes that she made "just for me." Tomorrow I will be on an airfield all day, but I have already planned my food and will be packing it later today, so I think I am good to go!

Anyway, here are my stats:

Week 1, 2/17 - down 4.5
Week 2, 2/24 - down 2.5
Week 3, 3/1 - down 2.5

Debbie, thanks for organizing this! I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

I'm out of town with no scale so will have to wait til next week to weigh in. Just wanted to pop in and say hi on the new month thread. Hard to believe it's March. It was 80 degrees yesterday here in North Carolina but it's raining and thundering right now.

Starting March out at 131. That is down 1.4 lbs. I survived going to the cafeteria for my salad to go with my potatoes I brought to work this week. One day was going rough and I wanted "comfort food" so bad. But thinking about posting here helped make me strong. That is why I joined this thread, to make me accountable to someone. Oh, also made it to the gym twice, getting that habit started up again.

Down 2 pounds!

I am very excited to continue losing. I don't really do full-on MWL, but rather the regular program. I try to pick MWL choices when I can, but I do love a couple kalamata olives and dried cranberries on my big green salad and I am willing to either lose weight a little slower or eat a little less in order to do so. I ate SIX (albeit, very small) potatoes for lunch yesterday. I was hungry and they were soooooo delicious.

Tonight's dinner is McDougall's Hearty White Bean Soup. It's one of our family's favorites.

Happy Birthday to Robin! (in case I am not around tomorrow).

Thanks for getting the March thread started Debbie- what with all that's going on where you are - wow, all that snow!!! We had a good couple of days of badly needed rain here in Northern California - nothing to put folks in ditches though :eek:

So here's the proof that exercise + McDougall MWL is the only way for me to loose any weight. I have been really on target food-wise but the best I could pull, w/o swimming was down .5. It's just me I am sure others do OK without exercise but I just don't! :\
