Andrew Breitbart died today. He was 43. According to what I'm hearing on the radio right now, he had a heart condition. It's very frightening. I pray that Dr. McDougall has it right!

No need to pray about it... the science behind this WOE speaks for itself...

That being said, and though the world will be a little less hateful, less
fearful, and certainly less divisive with his passing... I wish his family the best and would rather he had lived long enough to change his mind from his hateful and dishonest ways.

I debated whether or not to post this, for fear someone would make it political. Someone did. Shame on you. Just because someone has differing political views does NOT make him/her "hateful and dishonest".

Mods please feel free to delete this thread.

I think I heard that, too. And I was kind of wondering, how do they know that. Did they already do an autopsy?

I have managed to refrain (barely) from snarky speculations about cause of death. Dude was just about my age and looked better on TV than I would, so probably bad karma to snark too hard. Never tempt the gods. Some recent erratic public behavior on his part makes me wonder about ... nope, stoppit stoppit!

According to this article, there are conflicting accounts about whether he may have had a cardiac history, but no autopsy or toxicology screen has taken place yet.

My comment wasnt a speculation, snarky or otherwise :) I simply stated what I thought my news report stated.

In all honesty, I have absolutely no idea who this man is or was. I only had the news on cause I was trying to find out if our school called a snow day, which stupidly they didnt. Otherwise I wouldnt of even heard this story.

:)

Well, kudos to you for your restraint.

Once again...mods...this was NOT supposed to be a nasty, snarky, political thread. UGH. I'm sorry that people are so unable to restrain their baser instincts, and egotistically believe that their political opinions are correct and held by all. Please delete.

Just chiming in here - I may be wrong, but I did not get the impression that MixedGrains was commenting on other folks being snarky, just that he was having a sense of humor about himself.

Hopefully that is the case, and based on other post of his in other threads, it seems like it would be in character for him to be a nice forum member.

Anyway, it is very sad about Andrew Breitbart. I definitely hope Mr McD has it right, too. And I am pretty sure he does.

I haven't seen a cause of death anywhere, has anyone else?

I think when they say "natural causes" they mean there was no obvious sign of murder or suicide or, I guess, an accident. So it was probably heart related. :(

I certainly didn't agree with this man politically, but 43 is way too young to die (it's, um, my age!) and he had a wife who loved him and four kids. So incredibly sad.

Thanks, Nicoles, I appreciate the benefit of the doubt there. You understood my intent rightly.

The problem with society these days, they include heart attacks as dying of natural causes.

So how would you categorize a heart attack, suicide?
