Jeff,
You mentioned on Facebook, a few threads ago, that micronutrient testing might be of interest to some people. I am interested in it and have searched the web for various testing programs. It seems there is just one but I need a doctor’s order to get it. Do you know how I could get the test without a physician? Does hair analysis work? The other tests to follow are tot chol, LDL, triglycerides and CRP? Is that right?

Also, I am following my diet on CHRONometer to see if I am getting all that I need. I punched in the ratio of CHO’s 80%, Protein 10%, Fat 10%. That’s the ratio of plants, right?

thanks for your time with this.

I have not and do not recommend micro-nutrient testing.

This is related to the percent of total calories ingested.

Other tests I would consider would be Vitamin D and B-12 levels. You might want to discuss various lab tests with your Dr.
