Not the best day for eating today. Dinner was good tonight. I need to stop the overeating. I tend to do that when I don't eat the MWL way. I just need to stick to that. Tomorrow that is what I am starting to do. I am sick of being stuck with the rest of this weight and I am sick of giving into food.

I have been starving this morning. I am usually not so hungry, but I was so hungry today before lunch that I got a headache. That is not usual for me. Yesterday I felt went pretty well. I just need to find time to prepare foods ahead of time so that I am not hungry and snack on something else.
I loved re-reading the Dec. newsletter reminding me that eating starch is a good thing and that it will help me lose the rest of this weight.

I am still struggling with not being depressed staying at the same weight. I know I need to watch the eating. I do throughout the day, but I know I need to ask myself if I am truly hungry and if not find something else to do. I also need to work on getting enough sleep. It really affects my body when I don't get enough sleep.

Today is my daughter's 15th birthday party. Tomorrow is her actual birthday. I have done good tonight. She wanted pizza and I didn't touch it. I think normally I would, but with my daughter being gluten free, I don't even want to eat it because she can't. It is hard for the two kids who are gluten free, so I gave in a bought them tater tots to eat. They like those and even though it is not quite the same, they can handle it a little better. I also made a gluten free cake for them. I did give in and had 3 tater tots.

E: 45 min. heavy lifting- legs, 30 min. stationary bike
B: 1/2 c. oatmeal with 1 banana
L: hashbrown potatoes, big salad with garbanzo beans
S: 2 rice cakes with a little pb
D: hashbrown potatoes, 3 tater tots, salad
S: banana ice cream

I know my weight has fluctuated. I was 143 lbs. during Christmas and then went back up to 145lbs. Now I am back down to 144lbs. So hopefully I am on my way back down again.

We took my daughter out for her birthday dinner last night. She wanted mexican, which was fine with me. I made my own taco salad. I ordered refried beans and rice and a plain salad. It was really good. I have a feeling that the they weren't totally oil free. I did have some chips too and a couple bites of whip cream off of her dessert. I don't know why but for some reason I was starving all day yesterday. I felt like I was eating all day and had a horrible headache. I don't know if it was from that time of the month or not.

In a little while I am taking my 18 yr. old daughter to get her wisdom teeth out. I am planning on making some broccoli soup and green smoothies for her. And probably soy ice cream because she likes it.

E: 40 min. heavy lifting- chest, 35 min. stationary bike
B: 1/2 c. pumpkin pie oatmeal
L: split pea soup, salad
S: apple, 2 rice cakes
D: thai burger or broccoli soup, veggies
S: orange

I am back down to 143.8 yeah!! I am working my way down. We are leaving tomorrow for a couple of days on a snowmobile trip with my husbands family. I think it will be fun. My sister in law is making everything gluten and dairy free. So that is good. I still will bring something for me to eat such as snacks and maybe some sweet potatoes. So I won't be posting until Sunday.

We are back from our trip and it was wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the hard bed and my husbands snoring. I tried snowmobiling and it wasn't too bad. I wanted to try cross country skiing, but nobody wanted to join me. Since I have lost weight and getting more physically fit, I really enjoy doing physical activities, but there was no one who wanted that much physical activity. I did do a Jillian Michaels yoga dvd with my oldest daughter one day. I did go for a walk the first day with my mother in law and then yesterday I took a couple of the kids and pulled them on the sled. That was a good workout. I was dripping sweat. One of these days I am going to try cross country skiing. It would be nice to have someone to do those fun physical activities with me. It was nice though to just enjoy ourselves and just relax. They did have a hot tub outside that we went and sat in. It wasn't right next to the cabin so you had to walk a little ways. But it was really nice. It was so cold though last night that we were laughing at how our hair was freezing.
I did eat pretty good there. I cooked up some tofu and sweet potatoes and brought my oatmeal. I did eat some of the meals. She made spahetti one night and stew one night and chili. I did eat the spaghetti and the stew except without the meat, but I didn't eat the chili(it had tons of hamburger). Anyway it was way fun. It is hard coming back home. I really don't want to get back into the swing of things.

E: I am going to the gym in a little bit, probably a little cardio
B: 1/2 c. pumpkin pie oatmeal, 1 rice cake with a little pb and jelly
L: grilled soy cheese sandwich( without butter), apple
S: don't know yet

S: oatmeal or banana ice cream

Those "meatballs" made with black beans turned out wonderful. I will definetly be making them again. I did pretty good yesterday with my eating. It has been a crazy day today, a lot of interruptions on my schooling today. So it has been a weird day so far with eating as well. I am hoping to buy a book by Green Smoothie girl called Junk food Dude's cookbook. I bought the Junk Food Dude book for my kids and they loved it. It is a storybook about a boy who eats healthy and has lots of energy and a boy who doesn't and then decided he wants to be healthy and have energy like the other boy, so he changes his diet. It is really cute and colorful. Anyway she came out with a cookbook for kids. I thought it would be fun for my kids to try their hand at cooking some healthy meals and snacks. I know I need to get my kids cooking more. They like it when they do and something about cooking the food actually makes them like the food they are cooking better. Anyway I am excited to get it.

E: 45 min. heavy lifting- chest, 30 min. elliptical or treadmill
B: 1/2 c. pumpkin pie oatmeal, herbal tea
L: sweet potatoes, salad, 1 rice cake with pb
S: 2 rice cakes with a little pb, hashbrowns, banana
D: thai veggie burgers, broccoli
S: oatmeal or grapefruit

Yeah, hopefully I will get to order the book today, so when I get it and try some stuff, I will let you know how it is. We ended up having mashed potatoes yesterday. I figured I would make something my daughter could eat. We found she had a dry socket from where her wisdom teeth were pulled. That was why she was still in pain. Hopefully she will be on the mend now. But I thought homemade mashed potatoes would be a good food for her. Hopefully tonight I will get a chance to try that new recipe of thai veggie burgers.

E: 45 min. heavy weights- bicep, tricep, 35 min. treadmill- interval
B: 3/4 c. pumpkin pie oatmeal
L: roasted chickpeas, mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, salad
S: apple, rice cake with a little pb
D: thai veggie burgers on rice bread
S: 1/2 c. oatmeal with 1/2 banana
