Opps missed posting in the weigh in .. I should have done this first but I lost 0 pounds this week which is not true I lost two but only because my weight went up in the middle of the week and I got it back down by this morning LOL.

Anyway I was a wash for this week.
hope to be down at least 1 pound by next week. everyone is doing great.

I forgot to report my weight on Saturday morning, so I'll post it today, just to remind myself and will include the weight loss again next week, so it can get officially counted. This is more for a reminder to myself.

Sat., Jan. 21, 2012
Weight: 274.4 This weeks loss: -1.2 Total: 11.6

I'm posting this on Monday and I ate SAD food over the rest of the weekend and gained several pounds, so I'll have to be strict the rest of this week and see if I can't lose it again before I have to report in. :) AnneC

Missed weight in Friday. My mother passed away and I was on the road, she was 95. I won't be home this Friday and have limited access to internet so will miss this weeks weight in also. Just having to keep reminding myself that losing someone or being away from home is no reason to give up or slide on my good habits. I am worth taking care of myself.

I'm so sorry for your loss! My grandmother is 95, and it's been a rough road these last couple of months! Take time to take care of yourself, and give yourself lots of grace. You have a great outlook about the food...eating healthy will only HELP you get through this difficult time! (((((((HUGS)))))))

Yes! I am on the regular McDougall program. It is what works best for me personally. I just have to make sure the bread I eat does not have any eggs or oil. I make my own gluten-free bread for the most part. Almost all store-bought gluten-free bread has eggs or oil, but I bought a book that shows how to make oil-free, egg-free gluten-free bread. I also found a little book in the library that has gluten-free recipes for 1 or 2 servings of bread, cornbread, brownies etc. I even found a recipe in one of Dr. Barnard's books that shows how to make waffles out of beans. I am having a lot of fun experimenting with these recipes.

Hi all- no scale this week or next. I'm visiting my daughter and family. I got here last Friday. It was to be a few days of babysitting, then a week and a half of fun all together in NYC. Now, my daughter has a kidney stone, and feels awful. I'm spending lots of time with my grandson, who is 3. Take care, LauraA

Stayed the same this week, no lbs lost. I'm still 230. That's okay because I know I'm losing inches my clothes are looser. :)
