Where I live I don't have those options but I do get the"O" organics at safeway which have a lower sodium contennt about 120 to 130 depending on teh type of bean and i always rinse them now.
Also if you check the safeway brands the low sodium ones tend to be very low also.
You just have to take a little extra time to look at the backs and hunt them out.. or if you are lucky you live in a town with teh eden or Pomi stuff.
I get low sodium or salt free beans at Winco. One brand which is salt free is SunVista. They are also only .67 cents a can. Also, S&W has salt free tomatoes, they are .98 cents a can, a little pricier, but their low sodium beans are less than the tomatoes. You just have to look. Wal Mart will not carry them, except maybe the tomatoes because they dont care about our health.
I bought a couple cans of the Eden beans & rice a couple years ago. They smelled like & tasted like dog food. The kind that comes in the can, so gross. So I wont waste my money on them anymore.
