I'm spending these last few days of 2011 transitioning to the McDougall WOE, and on Jan 1 I will jump into the MWLP with both feet. I've been vegan for a little over 4 years and had started with Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live, which I loved - I felt amazing and dropped 25 lbs in 6 weeks. However, I never addressed my emotional issues around food and was soon bingeing on chocolate chips, peanut butter, and baked goods (unfortunately, I'm a really good baker). So as I became less and less of a whole-foods vegan, I regained all the weight I had lost (and then some, of course). I'm done with putting processed and refined crud into my body and I'm done with the yo-yo ride. I want to be one of the people that contribute to a new record number of pounds lost for 2012!
