Boy that sure limits your options doesn't it! 90% of our shopping is done in the produce or frozen fruit section. Our wost habit is tortilla chips, but we do but plain chips with the least amount of oil we can find, also the least flavor - ha!
I started another thread about a sugar question but so far no replies, may some of you know. I saw on a video that 1 tsp of sugar would shut the immune system down for up to 5 hours. Anyone know if there is any truth to that? Thanks!
This way it makes me stick to better foods.

I also spend the majority of my time in the produce section first, then the frozen foods. I do scan the aisles for sales and specials...the stores here, many of them have the "natural" foods in the middle of the aisles, so I check there and sometimes get a great deal, even with the 5 ingredients or less thing.
As for those tortilla chips, you can make your own. Just buy the corn tortillas that are also minimally processed using mostly corn and lime and maybe one or two other ingredients. You can add the seasonings you want, without adding oil. Someone posted recipes for them in the Food and recipe section. I'll have to check out that sugar thing. I bet it has something to do with the refined sugars and syrups, not raw sugar. At least i hope so.
