May I ask which food items you got rid of?
I would buy croutons, fat free, for my salad, cuz I liked the crunch, but I knew they really weren't fat free, but I figured it would be ok, cuz I was still losing, right? Overall my eating consisted of whole foods, like potatoes, rice, oatmeal, but I just let other things creep in. I was drinking coffee, & I did use creamer, non-dairy but not fat free!
Things like that. But I had been doing this for a while, what was happening the last few months is my eating was getting out of control, breakfast would be good, that was it. Then I saw Mike's presentation, that is what turned me around. Yes, I could still weight eating those things, but it was making it so hard to fight the cravings for the wrong stuff. I quit drinking the coffee, only because I dont like it black, then I switched to green tea. But I only did that maybe for a week after I started, I dont really like tea that much. Funny, I had no withdrawl symptoms from the caffeine.
Yesterday I saw a commercial for Jenny Craig, the lady is jumping down, I lost 30 lbs in 18 wks.!! Well, I lost 24+ lbs in 7 wks & I bet I paid a lot less for "my plan" & I am sure it was a whole lot easier.
