Faith, be sure to tell us what you learn about your sweet potatoes....however, I don't know what "slipping" is? How do you slip them? I'm really curious on that one.

My sweet potatoes are all up and doing very well now. The cooler weather doesn't seem to bother them, at least not so far.

Well this is all new to me. But they said to start a slip, a green growth from the piece of potato to plant. So I am trying to get it to grow.

One thing the article did stress, is the ground can not get below 50 degrees. That causes marks or something on them.
