1 cup gf quick oats, blended into flour
water

Blend the oats into flour and put in bowl. Add water a little at a time (less than 1/2 cup total) and stir with a fork until it starts to stick together.

Form into 4 balls. Roll each ball in a little rice flour to coat. Roll out between pieces of parchment or wax paper. Cook in an already heated dry skillet.

These are really tasty and you can actually roll/fold them! The drawback, of course, is the expense of the gf oats...

Wow, that sounds so easy! But if it's anything like rolling out Christmas cookie dough, then mine probably won't come out good. Are you able to get them thin like a corn tortilla?

I just bought some gf oats (why are they so expensive? $6-7 for two pounds!). I think I'll try this. I love corn tortillas, but it's nice to have a change of pace sometimes.

We eat a lot of tortillas and the oat sound healthier to me. I need one of those presses. Are they expensive? Guess I should try the recipe first so I don't have something laying around I don't use.
