This has been a very snowy winter there this year. And the road crews do not have the training or equipment to handle it.
I have to believe there are angles watching them. Both sets were about to head out for appts. today, but were warned just intime, so they did not get out on the roads. But a lot of people slid around a lot.
I am so grateful for the protection they are receiveing.
Enjoy your visit. I am sure you will be able to eat your regular simple diet just fine.
When I visited, I got some nice potatoes, some really nice frozen veggies. Did eat some grits--I cooked my own so not fat.
Any way I lost weight while visiting. I am sure you will be able to maintain.

There's a post going on that's right up your alley.
If you see this, please go to the Lounge, click on the thread about "I started a food blog" (or something like that), and then VeggieSue's post on that thread. She has a card to explain what a vegan wants to order at a Chinese Restaurant. I thought maybe you could add to that thread since I assume that you read Chinese. Could you also make a card that says, "No oil"?
