Great news Mary. Being total vegan has really been a boost to my health. With some 45 lbs lost the last couple years my backache, ulcers and prostate symptoms are history. I am now in South India working with a certified doctor who uses herbs, massage, hydrotherapy and positive God thoughts in bringing health to diabetic, heart and arthritis patients. A surgeon came to see a diabetic patient with a leg ulcer we used charcoal and vegan diet to heal and the surgeon admired our not having to call him to amputate. I recently graduated from a basic health educator course at Wildwood college in Georgia. My former work as a physician assistant would have been far more effective with natural healings instead of pills.

I think it is so wonderful that she has made such a drastic change in her health because of her diet. I have been able to cure my daughter's constipation with the diet as well. She has systemic JRA and so far the diet has not cured that but I am still looking for suspect foods like she was able to find. Blood tests do not always show much so trial and error is what we are working with.

I wish more people could hear stories like this on so more people could help themselves and the world would be a healthier place. I think we should all flood Oprah's inbox with McDougall requests to see if we can get him and some of his star McDougaller's on her show!

Print out and discuss these articles with family members and her doctors.
