Quick news clip reporting the strategy of an actress (Fergie?) to pile on the 14 lbs she needed to gain for a role in a movie.

When asked: "How did you gain the weight"? Her answer was quick:

"I stopped working out and ate brie every night".

OK! Simple message!

Hmmmm, now if only I needed to gain weight! HaHa.
I'd be more interested in hearing what she did to get the weight off after filming wrapped.

Gweithgar, maybe she's lurking here on our beloved McD. forums?

Good question! I'm sure she'll have a diet book out about it before long  .

I confess, though, that eating brie every night would not be a challenge for me. NOT eating brie (or any other cheese) is the toughest part of this plan, for me.

How long have you been at it? Memories of those yummy addictables like cheese does start to fade, and when more out of your system, they don't come to mind as often. yes?

I will make a point of consulting her whenever I get to a point in my life when I must put on weight. I hope she is not holding her breath though.

I have not eaten meat for 12 year but I still know what it tastes like. Yet walking past a shop that roasts chicken makes me want to grab for a brown paper bag just smelling it and I feel nauseated when we pass through the meat section in the supermarket.
The only cheese I really ever think about is Applewood smoked Bavarian cheese. But I have had no real desperate cravings for it since I started to McD on the 16th of December.
Yet for some friends of ours cheese is a reall big doozy of stumbling block; they are trying to go dairy free...again.
