 Post subject: Pie crust

I need to make a pie crust, was thinking that the one in the McDougall cookbook would work but it calls from ground raw almonds and whole wheat flour.

Has anyone made this with a gluten free flour, and if so did it work? Or, do you have a better solution for pie crust? I'm making a Dutch apple pie with crumble topping, special request for a birthday boy for this Saturday.

I haven't tried this yet, but I bookmarked it. JoAnn's a wonderful cook - my bet is that its good! :)
