I just purchased a mini trampouline/rebounder and I feel like a kid again. I am so enjoying bouncing and flexing and keeping my balance on this little rebounder.
I feel joyful and I am using it every day. It is so quiet that I can rebound while talking on the phone and no one can even tell I am exercising. As I talk a lot on the phone, this has been an easy way to get in some exercise. I love it!
I got the idea to get it after my octogenarian friend wore out her last one after using it for 20 years. She purchased a new one and got one for me too. I like that it is made in America. I also like the fact that even though I live on the second floor of a building, it is so quiet that I do not disturb my downstairs neighbor.
Anyone else have some tips about rebounding?

There are some rebounder lovers on the list. I'm sure they'll chime in. I have one and love it too. I just play around jump, jog, even doing this like fighting thing with bouncing back and forth on each foot. I got a video but haven't tried it yet. So they do make rebounder videos. I'm a novice so not full of suggestions.

Thanks, Faith. I am finding it to be the one exercise that I enjoy doing daily. Lots of time as I am yakking on the telephone, I am rebounding and bouncing unbeknownst to my fellow conversationalists!

I started my journey on my fiftieth birthday at the McDougall's Ten Day Program. Here I am five years later and admittedly I have slipped off the wagon. I need a lot of support.

Meanwhile, I am bounding for joy and looking forward to a September C.H.I.P. coronary heart improvement program being offered in Sacramento nearby. This should boost my enthusiasm for life.

What a wonderful birthday you or whomever gave you. I'd like that. That is my dream to let the doctor become my doctor and help fine tune me.

Use the search function to look up past threads on rebounders and mini-trampolines. I know there have been quite a few. I go through phases of using mine.

I have a Needak. Did you read the instructions about oiling it? The noise resistant coating is applied at manufacturing but can wear away. Lubricating the springs is necessary when the rebounder begins to make a squeaking sound.
Suggested lubricants:
vaseline or petroleum product
Teflon or Silicone based product
Needak lubricant pack(PO4)

They strongly suggest not using a spray or liquid lubricant which tends to drip and dissipate very quickly. I am quoting the manufacturer instructions.

Did you find the lubricant pack in the shipping crate? I would have missed it if my friend had not mentioned it. Mine is quiet.
