Sactobob--I'm a new kayaker so I'm currently doing on-top kayaking and I love it..I really wanted to buy a kayak but they are so expensive. I also thought about taking a class so I can do a sit-in kayak but again, so expensive! I've kayaked twice in my life and never took a class, I can go pretty fast and I'm so in love with it. I just like the fact that I can just go to a body of water and go kayak. Love it. It's probably the only exercise I love besides swimming and I can't do it every day because it is expensive...eh...I live in the East bay by the way

O and I went in the kayaking in Oakland, by Jack London Square in the Bay, by all the boats!
I had a dream last night. I was running. No really. I was..I used to really enjoy running when I was in junior high but I didn't keep it up because I had no one to support me and once I lost some weight I didn't see the need for it. I've tried to run again but I just have too much weight on my joints. So I have to lose some before I can run...Eh but ya junior high was a long time ago...Anyways...Besides the point. In my dream I was trying to run. And it took my legs a while to figure everything out--I was really wobbly. Then I could see someone in my side vision, and they were fixing to pass me. So I started changing how I ran, and I kept up with the person. But then I started to get a little wobbly again and they passed me.
So the analogy to my dream and my life is. I'm still trying to get all the kinks worked out but eventually..I'll be able to pass and exceed all my goals. I'm not ready yet. I'm taking baby steps and I'm stable but wobbly. Eh..Love it!!!
Week 1 is over with, I lost 3 pounds and I couldn't be happier. I feel good. I feel myself. I feel alert. I feel clean. I feel healthy. I feel wonderful. I feel happy. My body is thanking me today for this past week-- I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
