New review on algae-derived DHA supplements found that they raise LDL cholesterol. This is not surprising since many studies show that fish oil does the same thing.

First, we start killing all the fish; second, we start taking all the algae needed for the plankton and bait-fish to live. :eek:

I take an algae sourced DHA and the suggested dose is 200mg/day. So the studies dose was 8 1/2 times that. Anything, even water, can cause problems if the dose is high enough.
