I have lost almost 30 pounds the last 6 months and getting close to ideal weight and skin is looking great. But I am still struggling with fatigue and tired eyes, itching over my right eye and some on the top of the head, very visible blood vessels in the eyes. My eyelids are getting more and more wrinkled by the week.

I currently eat a vegan diet with a decent amount of starch.

A typical day I can eat
breakfast: banana + avocado
Lunch: Big sallad with whole grain pasta with a small amount of flax oil
Dinner: Big sallad with potatoes
evening snack: a couple of slices of whole grain bread.
Supplements: multivitamin + two wheatgrass drinks a day.
I try to eat a decent amount of calories and I never feel hungry eating like this.

So If I eat some meat I almost instantaneously get more energy and my head starts to clear up and I can sleep better. but if i continue eating meat acne appears on my back and forehead and I start to feel sluggish and tired again. So I don't want to go back eating meat again. But one would assume meat is giving me something the veggies aren't. Could it be Iron? Could it be B12?

I have a decent amoung of GI problems too so maybe that is hindering me from absorbing enough nutrients in one way or another.

I haven't been to a doctor in 6 months since they are pretty much useless around where I live. But my eyes are bothering me quite a bit and if I can't find a solution soon I will have to make an appointment.

I can't comment on all your issues, but possibly you may have some allergies - to grasses at this time of year, or something, that is irritating your eyes. Or you could be dehydrated. We live in a very dry climate, and when I don't drink enough water, I get bloodshot eyes.
