I made this sauce a few days ago. I had to stay at someone's house and I didn't want to pack so much for raw salads. So I thought it would be easier to eat crudites and this as a dipping sauce. Wow, it felt a little guilty to eat this sauce. It's so "rich and almost fatty" tasting. If someone else served me this I would have sworn they were lying about no added fats. Truly yummy.

What's better is that it gave me a clue about what should go in a sauce. I had a huge pot of lentils made plain with mire poix (sp) and I was tired of the plain taste. So I whizzed the last small batch up and made a sauce using the flavors from Yummy sauce. Threw that over some spuds and broccoli.

Thanks so much for sharing. This sauce will become part of my rotation.
