I'm so glad you folks are trying this - the no-cheese sauce is sooooo goooood!
I finally broke down and just bought some little white potatoes and little red potatoes (they were out of the purple ones though) and used them. It was cheaper then the fingerlings and all I did was wash and cut them in half. They worked just as well - in fact it's whats for dinner again tonight.
So far I have used the sauce on:
1. Baked potato and broccoli (or corn, or peas)
2. Rice and broccoli
3. Rice and edamame (sp)
4. Pizza
5. Mexican food
6. I just used it as a veggie dip two nights ago and really like that. Remember the old can of chees whiz that you spread on crackers and celery. Well, this had no guilt and all my cold veggies dipped in the sauce were great.
7. Burgers
8. Easy mac and cheese sauce with noodles and add any of the cooked veggies you love.
I can't think of one thing that I have tried that I haven't liked this on.
Give it a try and let me know how and what you are using it one. I'm not kidding it is one great sauce. I only make the spicy version now - but I really do think you'll love it.
