I always like to use the Chili's Awesome Blossom in my conversations on why fat makes you fat and carbs don't. A person can nearly gain a POUND of fat from this single menu item at Chilis with almost 3000 calories, most coming from the 200+ grams of fat.

Its just fat-free nayosoy mixed with a little water to dip the onions in to cover them in panko bread crumbs. Our oven is broken again so we won't be able to try these until next week

Thank you for the recipe, healthyvegans, and I love your website! I've just spent the past half hour or so browsing through your recipes and restaurant posts. I switched the sidebar to the "timeslide" view and discovered even more recipes to try. I'm going to see if I can find any of the store-bought convenience foods on my next trip to the US in a couple of weeks.

I didn't have any breadcrumbs, so I made some from WW bread. I bet they will be even better if I get some panko bread crumbs.

I love The Healthy Vegans blog! You all need to try their sweet potato chilli it is SO YUMMY I bring it to potlucks and make it for myself all the time. It freezes well too!
