 Post subject: what else can I eat today and stay on MWL?

Help!

I had oatmeal, cup of berries
and
Cup of brown rice, 1.5 cups roasted veggies, 1 cup black bean soup (mary's recipe) salsa

I'm stumped on what else to eat now. I had my cup of beans, had my cup of fruit.

Just some raw veggies, a salad, and maybe a potato? Just sounds so bland, any ideas? Very welcome!!!

Look at the top of the Food and Recipes page.
There you will find a list of recipes suitable for the MWL program linked to back issues of the McDougall Newsletter. That should get your imagination going. :D

Do you have any of Dr. McDougall's books? There are TONS of great recipes in those.

I also highly recommend Jeff's great Fast Food DVD:

yes, thanks i do have those and I see lots of great things. I jsut thought I'd used up the "good" stuff. I see there are still alot of choices...i made a baked eggplant with roasted tomatoes, in lots of spices. I will put it over brown rice.

I"ll get the hang of it! :nod:

I've been doing a quick salad that consists of:

2 cups spinach
1 cup couscous (optional)
1/2 a cucumber
2 tomatoes
1/4 cup of thin sliced red onion
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Bragg's Liquid Aminos

I combine it all in a bowl, usually soaking the cucumber first. If I have couscous I will add that in last, after it has cooled. Quick and tastes good.
