I was having a hard time with salad dressings being overly sweet until I finally found this recipe and wanted to share how yummy it is. I've been doubling the recipe so that we have enough for the week. This came from one of the McDougall newsletters. Caesar Dressing
2 tbsp. almond meal (Trader Joe's or make your own) 3 cloves garlic, pressed (I use a microplane) 3 tbsp. dijon mustard 3 tbsp. nutritional yeast 3 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. water (I use more)
In a bowl combine almond meal, garlic, mustard and nutritional yeast into a paste. Transfer paste to a covered jar and add remaining ingredients and shake to mix well. Chill before serving. Dressing will be thick after chilling, add more water if desired.
