so sometimes you have to wait in the dental office and read the magazines you really rather not look through...like the food ones....but today I ran across this recipe and a link I had not looked at...so we tried them tonight and oh yum...used a nonstick pan...didn't have the small reds but the medium reds worked just fine..

So when you made the smashed taters, how thin did you smash them?

I used a flat bottom bowl and they are about 3/8 to 1/4 inch thick....of course I sans the sour cream and top mine with barbq sauce or some cranberry sauce I make.....they have become my favorite way to cook potatoes....
