Okay so I keep asking I am sorry but I am a bit confused, but Dr McDougall okays Alvarado St Bakery Sprouted Wheat tortillas but when you read the ingredients there is safflower oil in the ingredients, what is up with that?

are they less than 10% fat?

maybe that is why, here are the ingredients:


Sprouted Organic Whole Wheat Berries, Organic Whole Wheat Flour, Filtered Water, Unrefined Safflower Oil, Sea Salt.


How do I tell if it is less then 10% fat, I don't know how to tell?

You can find the percent of calories from fat by looking at the nutrition info. for the "calories from fat (per serving)" and dividing it by the "total calories (per serving)" The answer will be a decimal, so multiply by 100 and it will be the percent. Hope this helps. I have been trying to find good tortillas too that don't have bad ingredients in. None of the ones on his list are sold around here. Does anybody make their own? I would be interested in a good recipie for that.
