I found a reference to Dr. Oetker's mixes on this site and decided to give it a try. I made vanilla pudding using only plain soy milk then when it cooled, poured a teaspoon of maple syrup on top and it tasted just like creme carmel. It's not something I'd suggest eating every day, but it does make a nice holiday dessert.
