No. Not a bit  It tastes like a very mild soy sauce. Savory without being too salty.

BTW: Here is a picture of my version of your Harvest Bake from Sunday dinner. Yellow beets, rutabaga, turnips, baby carrots, onion, green cabbage, garlic and Coconut Aminos. Best thing of all...I ate the whole thing. And at only 400 calories, I didn't have to feel guilty doing it. :D

Isn't the concept of calorie-density a wonderful thing?

Looks great! Yeah, I made a huge casserole dish of it and it was gone in 2 meals! :)

Are you kidding me? $25.99 for 8 oz, I think I will pass on that. Too rich ($$) for my blood. Sounded good though.

$7.49 for 8 oz. ???

I looked at the link that Katie posted, from Amazon. That sounds a lot more reasonable. Now I may try it. Thanks for that link.

Vitacost is AWESOME. Order $49 worth of stuff and shipping is free. I get ALL my Eden Foods beans, Pomi tomatoes, etc. there.

Ha!Ha! I didn't even look at the price, I was just after a picture of the bottle

I pay $7.49 a bottle at my local HFS. I usually pick up a bottle when I go there to buy my nutritional yeast and gluten-free grains.

I also have a MISTO olive oil mister.

I put the coconut aminos in it (instead of olive oil) and mist them on everything. Keeps my air-popped popcorn from getting too soggy :D .

Love the misto idea - I tossed mine about a year ago because I had no idea waht to do with it and it kept falling apart anyway. FANTASTIC idea....hopefully a bed bath and beyond coupon comes soon!

A cheapo spray bottle works too. ;)

Made this over the weekend. Loved it. With red beets it's very pretty with "jewel-tones." Sorry, too lazy to do pics.

I'm a little tired of always boiling my potatoes so this method would be good to just roast a big ol' bunch of taters too.

I love roasted/baked veggies, and this does look like it would adapt well to the crockpot, so thank you!

Kate, does your misto ever clog up with the aminos? I had one years ago for oil but it always got clogged and eventually stopped working.
I have tried cheapo spray bottles for soy sauce but they have all leaked on me.

I've had the Misto for maybe 6 months now, and haven't had any problem with clogging.

This looks great - since people are trying a crock pot, maybe I'll go the other direction and try my Instant Pot! I'd love to try the oven, but something is definitely wrong with the temp on my oven. I need to get it adjusted. In the meantime, I'll try the Instant Pot. thank you !
